What is a BLE Beacon
​
Its a small battery powered weatherproof wireless transmitting device that uses Bluetooth Low Energy BLE a technology that is incorporated in most smartphones, it literally creates a hotspot area for clocking in and out, employees simply walk into your beacon area and clock on their smartphone PWA app, the system then identifies the local beacon and if you are within the hotspot you can select it and your clocking is submitted, its that simple.
